Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Sugar Tumble is made by NiceLab AS, Norway ("we"). This policy explains what the game stores and sends, and your choices. The short version: no ads, no tracking, no accounts. Your game is saved on your phone.
What stays on your phone
Your game progress (your works, coins, gems, levels) and your settings (sound, music, vibration, reminders) are saved on your device. We cannot see them.
Backups you control
If you use iCloud (iPhone) or Google backup (Android), your phone may include the game's save in your own backup, so your works can move to a new phone. Apple or Google stores that backup under your account and its terms; we do not have access to it.
Purchases
Gem packs and the starter pack are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment; we never receive your card details, name or email. The game only gets a receipt showing what was bought, so it can add your gems. Those receipts stay in your save on your phone.
Game news, events, gift codes and inviting friends
The game can fetch news, scheduled events and gift-code rewards from our server at api.sugartumble.com. To do this it sends:
- a random install ID created by the game when it is first opened (it is not linked to your name, email, phone number or advertising ID);
- the game's version and whether it runs on iOS or Android;
- a gift code or a friend's invite code, when you type one in;
- your level in the game, so a friend who invited you can be rewarded when you reach the level shown in the game.
We use this only to send the right news and events, to make sure each gift code is used once, to give invite rewards, and to count how many players are active. Our server keeps the install ID with codes you redeemed, and counts of active installs for up to 30 days. If you invite friends or use a friend's code, it keeps your own short invite code and which install IDs invited which, with the level reached, so rewards are given once; no names or contact details are involved. When you share your invite code, you choose who to send it to, using your phone's own sharing. Like any web server, it briefly sees your IP address to reply; we do not store IP addresses with the install ID. The game works fully without this connection.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, the game schedules them on your phone (for example, when crops are ripe). They are not sent from our server.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no advertising or analytics SDKs.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of data.
- No accounts, so we never ask for your name, email or age.
Crash reports
If you have agreed to share app analytics with Apple, or usage and diagnostics with Google, they may send us anonymous crash reports. These are controlled in your phone's settings.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone. Purchases are protected by the parental controls on the device (Ask to Buy, Google Family Link and purchase passwords).
Your rights and deleting your data
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Because we only hold a random install ID, include the ID shown in the game's Settings when you write, and we will delete everything linked to it. Deleting the game from your phone removes your save from the device.
To have your Sugar Tumble data deleted:
- Open Sugar Tumble, tap the gear (bottom left) and tap Player ID at the bottom of Settings to copy it.
- Email it to [email protected] and ask for deletion.
- Within 30 days, NiceLab AS deletes everything linked to that ID: the install ID, the days it was seen, gift codes it used, and its invite code, invites and invite rewards. Nothing is kept. Your purchase receipts stay with Apple or Google.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
